A modern reinterpretation of a classic children's story—The Princess and the Pea—designed for a broad audience. The telephone book, used as a metaphor for the prince's search for the perfect princess, allows for several layers of meaning—as well as humor—to contribute to the original text by Hans Christian Andersen. Mattress ticking was used for the spine and end papers.
