Well gosh. A mention of graphomanic posted on memepool yesterday has brought me approximately one zillion and two visitors. A few of those visitors have written to me, which I appreciate greatly. In response to some of those missives: No, I have not been clinically diagnosed as having full-blown graphomania; You're right, the lyric "she's gonna put sugar on my tongue" by the Talking Heads would have been perfect for the december 11 "mute" entry; I'm sorry you have to kick your daughter off of the cheerleading team...I'll check out those pages on keeping a severed head alive as soon as I have some downtime.

You think I'm kidding about that last one, don't you.

Anyway, "...in bed" is now jam-packed with good stuff which thrills me no end. The ever-elusive second page of fortunes is still pretty bare, but page one has become a lot of fun to click through. Someone suggested that I put up an Exquisite Corpse project (based on the Surrealist parlor game, each person contributes a line to an ongoing story while only being able to see the line added immediately before, resulting in a surreal [go figure] and unexpected final story). This was actually one of the first ideas I had for graphomanic but I never built it because I know it's been done already. But really, that doesn't necessarily mean I can't do it too. And if anyone should have any project suggestions or contributions or words of wisdom or great winter dessert recipes (I have a dinner party coming up), please get in touch.
