Alright, fine. FINE. If NN6 is going to wreak about as much havok on graphomanic as IE5 (though IE5 is still worse, that cursed browser from hell!), then I guess I will just have to go about making it all work somehow. There's nothing I enjoy more than tearing my hair out over tables and detection scripts. How the hell did I get here? The little piece of me that never wanted to do web design to begin with is rattling on with an incessant "I told you so I told you so I told you so" that is driving me absolutely batty. But oh, Print, love of my life, when I lay something in a particular place you hold it there for me and keep those volatile visual elements from getting all self-important and running amok over the page, all willy-nilly, doing whatever the hell they want, like disappearing altogether. The web is no place for a control freak like me. So what am I doing? (Shades of my senior thesis are coming back to haunt me.) Alright, alright, I want it to work. Just for my own satisfaction and so the three or so people who visit here don't run off screaming at the hideousness of the home page. (And ok, so maybe some small sick part of me enjoys fucking with this stuff.) I'll make some tea and whip out my text editor and hammer this thing into shape. No problem. Hah. Alright? FINE.
