A few words about this project . . . for each fortune on the next page, a submission can be made that has in some way been inspired by the text of the fortune, no matter how tenuous the connection may seem. Submissions can be of any length — from one sentence to an entire chapter of some brilliant novel in progress. Then somebody can come along, read that posting, and submit something based on what was written by the person who came before. The idea is that each submission should be in some way related to the one before it, but not necessarily to the original fortune. This way a reader can follow a thread while clicking through. The fortunes are just a jumping off point. That's all there is by way of instructions. Now go! Write something! *NOTE: I reserve the right to remove entries that do not follow this scheme, at my discretion.
